Hundreds of stamps and accessories from the 2012-2013 catalogs are retiring, and this is your customers’ chance to get them before they’re gone. Many products are only available while supplies last, so be sure to get your orders in early! (And remember that some items having amazing discounts!)

Orders can be placed on a customer, workshop, or online order.
Retiring accessories are only available while supplies last.

Hybrid MDS Project

I’ve enjoyed sharing MDS with so many of you during my free classes. While I was talking to them about this wonderful program I mentioned how easy it to create Hybrid projects. A Hybrid Project is where part of your project is created Digitaly and the other is created traditionally. I was telling them about one of the projects the I created last year for the Stampin’ Up! Artisan design contest. This was one of my favorite projects. It’s a 12 x 12 scrapbook page. One of the pictures that I used was the Birth announcement that I created in “My Digital Studio.” I just printed it out larger to put it on the page.

I love all the detail I was able to add to the page and how the MDS is the only color that I added to the page. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but the whole thing sparkles and shimmers. It’s was actually created as more of a show piece then one that would go in a scrapbook since it has so many layers. I just re-created it (finally) so that I could hang it up in my daughters room that we just finished painting. I put it in one of those 12 x 12 frames and it looks so cute. Just so you know a few of the items are retired now as it was created last year.

MDS is such a great tool you can use to enhance your traditional scrapbook as well as creating all Digital projects. I hope that you will join me from one of my future classes. New Wood-Mount Cases from Stampin’ Up!

New Wood-Mount Cases

I’m so excited about these new boxes. It will be so much easier to organize my stamps with these. Can’t wait. The new catalog will be here soon. Remember the retired list comes out April 24th. I’m having a last chance, first glance party on the 30th so plan to come and get your favorites before they are gone and get your new catalog.

Introducing our new wood-mount stamp set packaging! These new cases are similar to our clear-mount boxes and fit perfectly on the shelf right next to them. They also have the images and stamp set name on the spine to make your search for the right set even easier.

Starting May 31 all wood-mount sets will come in this new packaging. Plus empty cases will be available with the launch of the new catalog. That means you can transfer all your old sets to these new boxes! There will even be a template for you to create your own label for your old stamp sets (available May 31). A pack of four half-size cases (3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″) will sell for $4.95 and a pack of four full-size cases (7-1/2″ x 5-1/2″) will be $6.95.

I’m excited to announce a color change. I really excited that many of our past in-colors are returning. Check out all the details and get yours before they are gone. Remember free shipping this weekend only. See below or my other post for more details.

WHAT THE REFRESH LOOKS LIKE.

Q: What are the new core colors, and what are the In Colors that are returning as core colors?
A: The one new color is called Smoky Slate. The nine returning In Colors as core colors are Bermuda Bay, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Soft Sky, and Wisteria Wonder. Check out these colors displayed in their new collections!

Q & A from Stampin’ Up!

Q: Why are colors being discontinued?
A: We retired colors based on sales history and focus group feedback. We also looked at our overall color offering and determined what colors were not working with others. We sent out surveys, looked at trends, and determined what colors are out of date, etc.

Q: Why have some of the carryover colors changed collections?
A: With the changes, we found that a few colors fit better in a different collection. We also organized our colors to be more complementary within each collection.

Q: When will the new color kit be available?
A: The new color kit will be available starting May 31. The kit will be available through the catalog year. All other new color products will be available with the new catalog on May 31.

Q: Will colors be retired in My Digital Studio?
A: We do not retire colors or products from My Digital Studio. All retiring colors will stay in your color palette.

Q: Will the new colors be available in My Digital Studio?
A: Yes. A download will be available on June 1 to add the new colors free of charge. Watch for additional downloads for accessories in new core colors after that time.
