Birthday Cheer- Birthday Hat

Card made using the Birthday Cheer set and the cute party hat.
Card made using the Birthday Cheer set and the cute party hat.

When I was designing this cute card even though it features this weeks Stamp of the Week the Birthday Cheer set I was thinking how cute this card would for an invitation to baby shower. The colors Balmy Blue and Flirty Flamingo are perfect for both a boy or a girl or like I mentioned is perfect for a baby. I actually love how the colors work together. Remember that Balmy Blue are Stampin’ Blends colors listed in the Occasions Catalog. Again I used the Dot To Dot embossing folder and the frame is created with the rectangle stitched framelits both feature in the Occasions Catalog.

Close up of Birthday Cheer Hat

Here’s a close up of the hat where I used the wink-of-stella on the top to give it extra shine.

The inspiration for this card came from a card made by a friend of mine Natalie Woll that I received in a group swap. I love the colors of this swap and how simple it is. She also used the wink-of-stella on the hat.

Here’s a close up of the hat on her card. She used something on the top that I’m not sure of what it is but it adds a fun fluff to the project.

Birthday Cheer- Cupcakes

Card made using the Birthday Cheer Stamp set and matching dies featuring the Cupcakes.

Stamp of the Week set featured April 1st – April 6th- Birthday Cheer.

Today I’m featuring a quick card I made using the Birthday Cheer Stamp Set and matching dies.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Just a quick note I used the Cherry Cobbler & Pool Party blender pens to color in the cupcakes after I attached them to a piece of Whisper White Paper . I also used the Dot to Dot embossing folder that I think works so well with this stamp set.

Another card featuring the Birthday Cheer Cupcakes

Same card with a different color Combo using the Birthday Cheer Stamp set and matching dies.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

This card features the colors Flirty Flamingo and a mix of the light Bermuda Bay with the Dark Pool Party Blender Pens. I also used glossy white card-stock for the back instead of the normal white. I found that the blends actually don’t work as well on this paper as they do on the whisper white card-stock.

Remember that when you purchase the Birthday Cheer set as the stamp of the week for April 1 – 6th you can get a free card kit when you purchase before the 14th of April using the special hostess code RAFQT4TW . The stamp set is just $20 however I recommend getting the bundle for $45 so you can make cute cards like this one using the die.
