Goofy Punches

I just really love this card. I saw the saying and knew I had to make a Goofy to go with it. I actually just looked at a picture of Goofy and tried to figure out what shape were used then I decided what punches I had that could make the shapes. I actually used the coluzzle for the chin, but that was before we had the new wide oval punch which I think would work now.

Here is a list of all the punches that I used:

Chin & Mouth- Wide Oval, Large Oval, Large oval for tongue
Teeth- 3/4″ Square with 3/16″ Corner Rounder
Nose- Large Oval, Small Oval, Word Window
Head & Eyes- Key Tag, Large Oval, Slit Punch
Hair & Ears- Large Oval
Hat- Small Oval, Large Oval, Key tag

I think that’s everything. I hope you like him I thought he turned out cute.

Technique Tuesday 12-16-08

Rolling with the Punches

This is the technique my club member learned last week. You will be able to see more samples in the club page. I got this technique from Laura Fredrickson you can see her complete tutorial by clicking here. I had a lot of fun with and thought it was a great technique. I actually found it months ago and have been waiting for Christmas to show it. The basic technique is to use your punches to make a template then roll your wheel over the template so you only get part of your images. Then you can trace around them or use sponge daubers to fill them in. If you want to see the step by step instructions you can check out Laura’s site. Here is just one of the fun cards we made. Marvelous Monday 12-15-08

This is a basic use of markers. Just using them to color it line drawings. It’s fast easy and simple. I had to show off this card though since the “Ahoy Matey” set is on the retired list.

This is a really fun 3×6 card because I created a pocket and then put a little bookmark in the pocket. I love this kind of card for a birthday gift because the have the fun bookmark to use afterwards. This was actually one of my cards from the Artisan Award contest I did for Stampin’ Up! They actually had it displayed at convention so I was excited. I hope you like it and sorry this post is a day late.

Stampin’ Sunday 12-14-08

I really wanted to try using one of the great snowflakes from the mini catalog on a project. I thought it would be fun to put it on a pictures frame. I really loved how this turned out. I have to admit the picture really helps too. This is my little Xander last year. We called him Xander Claus. The picture was taken by JC Penny Photography.

Swapping Saturday 12-13-08

Sorry this is late. This is a 3D swap that I got from convention. It was created by Tammy Johnson. I love how she used the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper to create a Christmas Project. She also used the Deer Friends Level 2 hostess set.

I also love that the cute box hold 4 Christmas cards with envelopes. The cards are actually the Note Cards which are a smaller size. They are 5 x 3 1/2. Just perfect for giving with a gift. I hope you enjoyed this swap and be watching for more. Thanks Tammy for your great project.
