Lasting Lily SAB set

The minute I saw this set I knew I had to have it. It’s one of the few items that are free with a $100 purchase rather than a $50 purchase, but it’s so worth it.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Simple Card using the Lasting Lily SAB set

Simple Stamper

I love this card because is so simple and elegant. It’s perfect for sending in the mail as it doesn’t have any extra special raised parts.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Lasting Lily SAB card for the casual stamper.

Casual Stamper

This card is stepped up for the casual stamper. I’ve added the petal burst embossing folder to the background as well as a bit of ribbon from the all my love ribbon combo pack. The stamping is the same as in the simple stamping.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Lasting Lily SAB card for the Avid Stamper

Avid Stamper

This stepped up card uses the same products as the casual stamper with the addition of the stitched framelits. In this fun technique I cut the top part of the lilies with the scissors then slipped the framelit around it to finishing cutting out the shape. Such a fun technique but it does take a little practice.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Close Up

Here’s a close up of the avid stamper card so you can see the details of the petal burst embossed background as well as the stitched framelits around the lilies.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Addition Samples

My fellow demonstrators are full of amazing creative ideas. Here’s a few of my favorites that I’ve found online as well as collected through swaps. I always appreciate that so many people are willing to share their creativity with others. I’ve included their names when I had them. Hope you enjoy the extra ideas for this amazing set.

Eastern Palace Suite

We were able to pre-order some products from the catalog so I’ve had some time to play with them.  I hope you enjoy these samples.  They also feature some of the new in-colors.

Here’s some samples that I’ve created with my pre-order and I’m having a difficult time trying to decided what I want to order first now that I can order anything from the new catalog.  I would love to hear what your favorite new items are from the catalog.  All of these samples were created using the new Eastern Palace Suite on pages 18-19 of the new catalog.

This first one is my own creation.  I was struggling with this set so I spent time on-line to get other ideas.  A big thanks to everyone who is willing to share.

If you want to create any of these cards

Colors – Dapper Denim – Fresh Fig – Tranquil Tide – Lemon Lime Twist –Whisper White

The next two were cases from other talented demonstrators.  I’m grateful for all the wonderful samples that others are willing to share for all of us.  I hope you will enjoy my twist on these fun projects.  Sorry I don’t have there names to give them credit, but I do thank them.   For this card I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to create the circles in the center project.

This last card is created by using the aqua painter to brush ink on watercolor paper.  This is then allowed to show through the intricate designs of the Easter Palace Suites dies.  These dies are fun because there are so many different designs you can make from the few designs just by mixing and matching them.

TGIF Challenge

I recently found a fun new group on Facebook that has a great blog.  You can check out their blog here http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/.  They are featuring fun challenges that their designers participate in and we can participate in the fun as well.  So I thought this would be a great way to challenge me a little as well.  Here was the first challenge.

I had so much fun with the challenge the I actually created 3 projects.  So I thought I would share all three.  I really do love how well these colors work together.

Heart Card TGIF challenge

I really love how this one turned out.  I liked the card with just the hearts but I really loved it when I added the little extra touches like the buttons with ribbon and the heart bubble.

Here’s a quick list of supplies:
#137364 Happy Heart Texture Impressions Embossing Folder $7.95
#113439 Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine $99.95
#134586 Crushed Curry Bakers Twine $2.95
#127555 Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons $5.95
#133786 Sweetheart Punch $15.95
#137415 Confetti Heart Border Punch $21.95
#137856 Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers $3.95

Stamps:
Groovy Love
#134243 Wood $24.95
#134246 Clear $17.95

Thanks Card TGIF Challenge

This was the second card I made and probably my favorite.  I just love how it turned out.  So just a note the feathers on this card are included in the carry over items from the Holiday Catalog.  They are not listed in the new catalog so I’m not sure they will continue to carry over.  That means if you didn’t get them already and love them like I do be sure to get them now.

Thanks Card TGI Challenge Close Up

Here’s a little closer look at the feathers and the words.  I really love how it looks.  One quick note on the background.  I stamped off first before stamping my white card-stock so that it would be a bit lighter.

Here’s a quick list of supplies:
#113439 Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine $99.95
#135852 Feathers Framelits Dies $12.95
Available as a bundle with the stamp set
#137363 Hello You Thinlits Dies $24.95
#134586 Crushed Curry Bakers Twine $2.95

Stamps:
Four Feathers
#135050 Wood $13.95 Bundle #137629 $22.75
#135053 Clear $10.95 Bundle #137630 $20.25

Positively Chevron (Background Stamp)
#130496 Wood $17.95
#130499 Clear $13.95

So my last project I thought it would be fun to use these colors to create my own Project Life card for my page.

Project Life Page TGIF Challenge  The one thing about project life is that it’s hard to get a good picture when the pages are in the page protector.  I actually attached the extra elements to the page protector instead of the actual pictures so I couldn’t take the pictures out for the picture.

Project Life card TGIF Challenge

I took out the center card and took a close up picture so you could see how easy it was to make this simple card for this page.  I used one of the grid cards to make it easy for journaling.  I love this stamp set and punch for Project life it just works so well with everything.  Remember this awesome stamp set and punch is on the retired list so be sure to get them before they are gone for good.

Here’s a quick list of supplies:
#129964 Essentials Hardware Clips $5.95
#133781 What’s Up Punch $16.95
#135294 Variety Pack 12 x 12 Project Life Photo Pocket Pages $135294 $6.95
#136528 Project Life 4 x 3 Grid Cards $3.95
#134586 Crushed Curry Bakers Twine $2.95

Stamps:
What’s Up?
#134267 Wood $20.95
#134270 Clear $15.95

I hope you have enjoyed the cards I made with this challenge.  I enjoyed making them and sharing them with you.  I’d love to see your creations please feel free to share them on my Facebook page. #TGIFC01
