What started as a search for creativity quickly became so much more. Through customers, teammates, and demonstrators from around the world, my circle of friends has grown in ways I never expected. Some of my closest friendships today began with a simple love of paper crafting.

4. Share What You Love
One of the greatest gifts Stampin’ Up! has given me is the opportunity to share something I genuinely love with others. Whether I’m teaching a class, writing a blog post, creating a video, or simply giving someone a handmade card, I know I’m sharing more than paper and ink—I’m sharing encouragement, creativity, and connection.
There are so many ways to share your passion. Some demonstrators teach in person, others connect online, and many do a little of both. 5. Create on Your Own Terms
When I first joined Stampin’ Up!, stamp clubs and in-home workshops were the most common way to share products and ideas. The thought of standing in front of a room full of strangers was enough to make me question whether becoming a demonstrator was really for me.
Instead, I started the way that felt comfortable. I hosted a small stamp club and built my business one relationship at a time.
Over the years, the world has changed—and so has Stampin’ Up! Today there are more ways than ever to share your creativity, whether that’s through in-person classes, online videos, social media, blogs, tutorials, or a combination of them all.
My own business has changed through every season of my life. I’ve had times when I focused on growing, and other times when family, school, or work needed my attention. Through it all, Stampin’ Up! has given me the flexibility to build a business that fits my life—not the other way around.

6. Grow Personally
I can’t even begin to tell you all the ways I have grown and I think become a better person because of Stampin’ Up! All the lesson I have learned I’ve been able to apply to my life. I love the feeling I get when I accomplish one of my goals. I had forgotten how much I missed the praise I got from school when I did a good job. I love that I have a wonderful group that helps me to feel good about myself and gives me the desire to do better.
I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without Stampin’ Up! both in my personal life and in my professional life. Everyday at work I get up in front of my staff and provide them with words of encouragement and inspiration. Before I started with Stampin’ Up! I didn’t even want to get up in front of my friends and their friends, now I speak a large events, have demonstrated to large groups and have found a way to share with Facebook lives, YouTube, Instagram and more to people I never thought I would be in a position to inspire and connect with. Stampin’ Up! has taught me to face my fears and to look for new and exciting adventures even if they scare me.

The number one reason I joined Stampin’ Up! was to find connection. I was looking for creative people who shared my interests, and I never imagined how much those relationships would come to mean to me.
Some of my closest friends today are people I met through Stampin’ Up.—customers, teammates, and demonstrators from around the world. Even as life has taken us in different directions, those friendships have remained.
Whether we’re creating together at a class, laughing at OnStage, traveling, meeting on Zoom, or simply checking in with one another, these friendships have become one of the greatest blessings of my journey.
There’s something special about spending time with people who understand your passion for creativity and encourage you to become your best self. have so many opportunities to get together and stamp. Stamping and creating together is a great way to help others relax, spend time with friends, make new friends and discover their creative side. We offer solutions for beginners to avid stampers and everywhere in-between. Building connections was the number one reason I joined Stampin’ Up! and it has come back to me 10 fold. Some of my closest friends are past and present demonstrators and customers. While people have moved in out out of the Stampin’ Community, the friendships have stayed. This is what I value the most. The excitement I get when I know I get to spend time with my friends is comfort to my soul. When we go to long without seeing each other it’s like a part of me is missing.

8. Explore New Adventures
One of my favorite parts of being a demonstrator has been saying “yes” to new adventures. Whether it’s attending a local event, traveling to OnStage, participating in a retreat, or earning an incentive trip, every experience has introduced me to new places, new ideas, and wonderful people.
I never imagined that joining Stampin’ Up! would take me across the country—or even earn me a place among the top 1% of demonstrators on the Hawaii Incentive Trip. Along the way I’ve shared those adventures with my husband, my family, and friends who have become like family.
Every event leaves me feeling inspired, energized, and excited to come home and create.

9. Gather, Create & Connect

Whether we’re stamping around a table, crafting online, attending an event, or simply sharing ideas, creating together has a way of helping people slow down, laugh, connect, and encourage one another.
More than twenty years ago, this was one of the reasons I joined Stampin’ Up., and it’s still one of the reasons I stay. Every class I teach, every event I attend, and every project I share reminds me that creativity has an amazing way of bringing people together.

10. Love What You Do
More than twenty years later, joining Stampin’ Up! is still one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
When I first joined, I was simply looking for creativity and connection. I never imagined it would become such an important part of my life. Through every season, Stampin’ Up! has grown with me, giving me opportunities to inspire others, build meaningful relationships, continue learning, and celebrate both my own accomplishments and the accomplishments of those around me.
Growing up, my mom often said, “I love what I do…you can too.” Today, I understand exactly what she meant.
I truly love what I do. I love helping others discover their creativity, celebrating their successes, and watching their confidence grow. If I can help someone else find that same joy, then every card, every class, every event, and every friendship has been worth it.
