Retiring List and Color Refresh

It’s that time of year again when sadly we must say good-bye to many favorite Stampin’ Up! products to make room for new ones. In addition to our traditional retiring list we will also be experiencing a color refresh. That means that we are saying good-bye to some of the current Stampin’ Up! colors, saying Hello to returning in-colors and getting the chance to experience new colors in our line.

Attached are the retiring lists for both the current catalog and the mini catalog. I encourage you to order early as items are while supplies last and colors will go quickly. Remember you can order online at candiceanderson.stampinup.net. If you order is less than $150 I encourage you to use the hostess code listed on the top right. Birthday Bow Card & Gifts

Today is my Birthday and what better way to celebrate then with a fun Birthday card.

I love this card because it’s so simple and easy. The cute bow was made with the Envelope punch board. One of the special projects my club members learned how to create. The tag is so easy to create using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, one of my favorite products from the occasions catalog and simply a must have for any stamper or even no stamper for a quick tag.

I realized I never showed you the full pictures of the projects from Club that featured this fun bow technique. The first one used the scallop Tag Topper Punch again this time to create a fun little package that you could stick a treat in like lotion or something yummy. This could be used for a Birthday gift or just because.

Good Thoughts Bow Package

The next project is on one of our Decorative Window gift Boxes once again decorated with the cute paper bow. This time it is attached with a cute belly band that can be slipped off to revel a fun treat or gift.

I really love these bows they are so easy to make and perfect for almost any gift project. Make them out of your favorite Designer Series Paper for a world of possibilities.

See you later Alligator

How cute are these alligators. They go so perfect with the Sale-a-bration stamp set and embossing folder.

I saw a card similar to this one on Pinterest made by one of the artisans and I just new I had to give it a try. When I first started I though that she had used the punch to create it but quickly realized it was a die because it was larger than the punch. However I was inspired to try making one with the punch as well.

I started with 5 alligators made with my punch then it was time to play a bit and see what I could come up with. This was my first card. I originally thought I was going to use all 5, but after playing with it a bit I ended up using the banners from the Sale-a-bration. I love how it turned out.

Since I had some alligators left over I decided to try another card. I thought he would look cute in a circle so I came up with this fun card. I love using the different background stamps to create a unique background. The washi tape set is fun because it gives you the washi tape look in your choice of colors.

I really love the different texture in these cards created by the embossing folders, designer series papers and punches. I also love using the clay molds to create an accent in the prefect color for my project.

Monster Birthday Card

This was one of the cute cards from my Stampin’ Buffet last month. I really love this monster set, I’m so glad I finally got it. I’m also in love with this designer series paper. I’ve had way to much fun with it. I just really like the color combination. It’s great for fun vibrant cards. It’s also really good for boy cards which I tend to find a bit harder to create.

Here’s a little bit more close up of the monster. I colored him with a blender pen. I used dimensionals to make the balloon and the hat really pop. I also used them behind the Happy Birthday. Do you love how the fun retro paper works so well with this embossing folder? I do.
