Amy’s Meeting
This weekend was spent with my fun stampin’ friends at Amy Johnson’s Annual meeting. We had a great time. I learned so much as I always do so be watching for some fun new ideas. Plus there were some really fabulous swaps. I will get things posted soon. I need to download the pictures. I just wanted to give you a little heads up and say thank you to all the wonderful presenters and to Amy for putting on such an inspirational meeting. Marevelous Monday 3-16-09
At our meeting on the 13th we were each asked to bring a 3D project. I took my game night score keeper. Then we drew names to trade with. I was very excited to get this project. It is from my friend Megan Dunn. You can check out her blog at www.welldunnideas.blogspot.com. This fun little box holds 4 cards with envelops.
I love that she embossed the little birds. The cards are so simple and so fun. I really like them. I just might have to get this stamp set now. This set also matches the good friend stamp set.

Stampin’ Sunday 2-1-09
Last weekend we had a fun day of Stamping at Janice’s down-line meeting. Here are the rest of the fun projects that we got to make.
This is a fun pillow box. I know you can’t see it but we used the new textured plates on it and it looks really cool. The flower is the new Simple Flower embosslit die . I love that it embosses it and cuts it out with just one quick turn through the big shot. We used a half pearl from the pretties kit for the center. The tag is made by stamping in VersaMark pad and embossing with white embossing powder. I love that we got to use the new organza ribbon. I think it is so pretty.
