Exciting News & Birthday Sale

good-friend-book-front-copyFirst for the Exciting News-
So I know I’m really far behind on my post right now but I just had to get on and talk about my exciting news.  Before I left for Hawaii I created a Paper Bag Scrap-booking using the Good Friends Stamp Set.  I decided I wanted to enter it into the Scrap-booking Class Challenge that Stampin’ Up! was having.  I actually stayed up all night the night before Hawaii to finish the instructions and send it in.  Well yesterday I got a call and I won.  I’m so excited.  I was one of four winners and my project was posted today on our demonstrator site.  I have entered so many contests and it’s such an honor to finally win.  Plus the free stamp set of my choice doesn’t hurt either.  What’s even better is today is my Birthday so what a fun Birthday surprise.  You can check out all the information about this fun book and how to get your project for just $10.00 by clicking here.  Be watching for a special date that I’m going to add where you can come and make this fun project.  Just as an added bonus.

Aloha

Aloha everyone.  I’m in beautiful Hawaii.  I’m heading out to go snorkeling today.  I’ll try to post pictures if I can.  I just want to say thanks again to all of my wonderful customers, hostess and down-line.  I wouldn’t be here with out you.  You are all awesome.  Let me know if you need anything.  I will still be back in time to finish up all the fun Sale-a-bration stuff.  See you soon.  Candice

dsc01457We had a wonderful day today in Maui.  Here is a picture of us on our Snuba Dive.  If you have never heard of it you really need to try it.  It’s a cross between snorkeling and scuba diving.  You are attached to a 20 foot hose so you get to go under the water and really see stuff, however you don’t have to be certified to do it.  We did it the last time we were in Hawaii and I really wanted to try it again.  I loved it and would love to take my kids sometime.  I think they would love it too.  We had plenty of time to snorkel as well which as really fun.

img_84771We also got to see beautiful Humpback whales and Green Sea Turtles.

img_8531The rest of the day was spend driving up the beautiful coast.  Followed by dinner and an romantic walk on the beach.  It was a really wonderful day.

I hope you enjoyed this little glimpse.  I will try and post more when I can’t.  But I don’t know how much Internet access I will have.  Aloha

Fun Little Game

I love checking my friend Deborah’s blog and she posted this great idea. Since I REALLY want something from her (even though I’m a little nervous about her limitations posted below), I’m offering the same challenge to you. The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! (But, I really hope you will)
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It’ll be done this year.
4- You have no clue what it’s going to be.
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog (or facebook, etc.) and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did, win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! Good luck!

Marvelous Monday 2-16-09

Recently I was able to preview the new Spring Mini Catalog (just one of the many perks of becoming a demonstrator.  Can I just say “So cute”  I can’t wait.  Be watching for a Sneak peek and pre-order items for customers starting March 1st.  Anyway I was looking back through some old projects and remember this scrapbook page that I entered into a contest last year.  Although the paper and many of the accessories are now retired (it was last years spring mini) I thought the idea would inspire you and remind you that our mini catalog items are for a limited time only so start planning today.  April and May are great times to have a Stampin’ Up!® party.

field-trip-pg-1This was my son Mikey on his Kindergarten field trip. I just love how the chipboard elements add depth to the page.  These pages used last year’s In-Colors.  Remember the current In-Colors are only available until the end of June.  Stock up now to make sure you get your favorites.

field-trip-pg-2I really love this page.  The big pictue was my favorite.  I loved that I was able to print the pictuers to just the right size with my pictue printer (HP Photosmart D7360)  I love it.

Hostess Drawing

nf-grand-prizeSo I was cleaning up the other day getting ready for my open house.  I realized I still had the grand prize from Novemberfest that was never claimed.  So here’s your chance to get the basket with over $100.00 worth of product.  It’s really simple all you have to do is host a party.  I will be giving out tickets to all the hostess and I will draw one winner.  Because I have different dates I want to book here is the different tickets you can earn:

Book and in-home party in:

February (during sale-a-brations & bootcamp): 15 tickets
March (during sale-a-brations): 10 tickets
April (new mini catalog): 12 tickets

Book a class party:

February: 10 tickets
March: 7 tickets
April: 7 tickets

Book a Catalog Party:

February: 7 tickets
March : 10 tickets
April: 7 tickets

nf-gift-aGuest Bonus:  I still have two of the smaller prizes.  So for each guest that places an order (this can be you as well, when you place a personal order besides the hostess benefits)  I will put their name in for a drawing for the 2 other gifts.  They will get one ticket for ordering and one ticket for every $25.00 they spend.  During sale-a-brations they could get 2 tickets for placing a $50.00 order plus a free sale-a-bration set.

nf-gift-cTickets are worth different values because of Sale-a-brations and when I will be gone to Hawaii (earned all expenses paid through Stampin’ Up!.  If you’d like to learn how to earn your own trip contact me today.)  I’m also extending it to April so I’m ready to go when I get back.  This offer is good for any of my parties and their guest.   You can check out my available party dates by clicking here.  Or you can email me at: andersoncandice@hotmail.com.   I look forward to hearing from you.

Stampin’ Sunday 1-18-09

They have announced the Artisan Award Contest again so I’ve been thinking a lot about what I wanted to do.  This is a contest for any demonstrator who just wants to show off her stuff.  I like this contest because it’s based solely on your creativity so it’s great for anyone who got into Stampin’ Up! because they love to create and they aren’t working it as a business, but it’s also great for people like me who works the business and sometimes needs a little push to get the creative juices flowing.

bugs-kisses-closedI have entered this contest every year since they started it.  This will be my third year.  I haven’t one yet, but I have had several of my items featured on the demonstrator website as well as at Convention.  I love seeing my things displayed and I love knowing that they liked something I did.

So for this Swapping Sunday I though I would share the projects I made for the last 2 years.  I can’t share this year’s with you until after the contest (because of the rules.)  But i figured I could share the old ones with you.  Although some of the product is retired now I thought they still might inspire you.

two-by-twoI have shown just a few of the samples here but you can click here to see all of them.
