Christmas Card Crunch Class

If so this class is for you. Get a jump on your holiday preparations by getting your Christmas Cards done! Here is how it works: You’ll get 10 cards with envelopes for $7-10 (Depending on the style chosen). Choose from 12 great designs. You can order as many packets of 10 as you would like to stamp up! All supplies will be cut and ready to stamp and assemble. I’ll provide everything you need (except adhesive.)  All you need to do is stamp, punch and create.  It’s so easy and fun.  You’ll save time and money, plus you’ll dazzle everyone with your beautiful hand-crafted cards.

Plan to come and get your holiday cards done before the Christmas rush.

When you sign up tell me which group you want.  You’ll make 10 each of the same card.  Choose as many as you would like, just give your self time to make them.  (Note you may need to stamp and punch then assemble at home.)

Crazy for Christmas

I know some of you are thinking it’s way to early for Christmas.  While I do agree with you and I have put out my fun fall decorations and I’m waiting until after Thanksgiving to put up my Christmas stuff.  However I do know that this time of the year calendars fill up fast so I wanted to give you the dates of my annual “Crazy for Christmas” stamp Camp.  This is my favorite event of the year when I will have lots of fun Christmas gift project you can make for friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.  I’m still working on all the projects, but here’s a sneak peek of one of my favorites so far.

This cute snowman is made with our cookie boxes.  Each box can still be opened so you can fill them with fun cookies (our cookie press make this so easy) or other treats. Then when the treats are gone they will still have a cute snowman for their home.  This is just one of the many fun projects I will have to make so mark your calendars and plan to come.  Be watching for more info. on all the projects or better yet visit me at Novemberfest Thanksgiving weekend at Logan Rec Center to see them in person.

Help me help this family

Help me put the “Fun” in Fundraising.

I have a down-line member that I’d like to introduce you to.  Her name is Michelle.  Some of you may have met her, but I know many of you haven’t.  I met her about 10 years ago when she was my son’s first grade teacher.  It was her first year teaching and we became instant friends.  I even had the privilege of attending her wedding.  We continued our friendship even after my son moved to the next grade.  I invited her to my open house when I first became a demonstrator and she joined my club.  This was a perfect opportunity to get to know her better.  She ended up moving to Morgan, but would still travel once a month to come to club.  Eventually she became my first recruit.

She continued to teach in Morgan, but her and her husband desperately wanted children of their own.  After being told she couldn’t have children they decided to adopt.  Almost three years ago they adopted a beautiful little boy.  I consider her quite a courageous women, because she was willing to adopt this little boy who has down syndrome and had to have open heart surgery in his first year.

18 months later they decided that they wanted to get back on the list for adoption.  They were just finishing the process when she discovered they’d beaten the odds, she was pregnant.  This was such a miracle for them.  Her son was born 5 weeks early.  He was also born with 2 left kidneys which he will have to have surgery for.  Before he left the hospital he failed his hearing test.

Since then they have tried many things, but they’ve decided what will work best is a special surgery for hearing aids.  He was approved for this surgery however it is very expensive.  The insurance will pay 22% but that still leaves over 100,000.00 that they must pay for their son to be able to hear. This little family has been through so much.  I think Michelle is such an amazing women to care for these little boys.  She quit her job to so she could take care of them.

Googly Ghouls Club Projects

I’m in love with the new Googly Ghouls in the Holiday Catalog and of course the matching googly eyes.  How cute are they and the fact that they are sticky and you can just put them right on your project is so awesome.

So these cute little guys are what I’m featuring for this months Stamp Day. Here’s just one of the cute cards we will be making.  We will also be using the fun Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit.

You are always welcome to come and check out this fun Stampin’ Event.  The first time is always free and you get to make both cards plus the bonus 3D project.  All you have to do is contact me to let me know you are coming so I can cut out projects for you.  Come and learn more about this fun monthly activity.
