#TGIFC415 Color Challenge

I also wanted to try something a little different with this card. I have always enjoyed the paper piecing technique and decided rather than doing it as the front of the card I would use it to create the card base and do a little something different for the card opening. I’ve created this quick video for you to show how easy it is to create this background and card.

I actually created this card using the hello beautiful stamp set for the challenge first, but I liked the sailboat card better so I featured it first in the blog. The inspiration for my card was from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog – pg 50 where the stamp set was highlighted. I keep all my old catalogs as they are a great source of inspiration for color combos, layouts or just to spark the imagination. Do you keep your catalogs?
