Saying Goodbye with Beside Me – GDP490 Challenge

As we flip through the final pages of this Stampin’ Up! catalog, it’s always bittersweet to say goodbye to some of our favorite products. I’ve challenged my self to create a project featuring each of the sets I currently own.

To start off, I wanted to create something meaningful using one of the retiring stamp sets — Beside Me. It’s a set that’s brought so much heart to my projects, and I wanted to give it a proper send-off.

For this card, I followed the sketch from this week’s Global Design Project Challenge #GDP490 I love how their layouts push me creatively while giving just enough structure to get started. The image I chose from Beside Me captures a beautiful father-child moment, and I paired it with soft colors and layered elements to give it a warm, heartfelt feel.

If you’ve been holding off on this stamp set, now’s your chance before it’s gone for good! It’s perfect for Father’s Day, birthdays, or any time you want to create a card with a personal, emotional touch.

Let me know what you think of this week’s project — and if you’re playing along with #GDP490, I’d love to see your take too!

Happy stamping!
