This card is extra special because it has a fun hidden note behind the flowers. The pot is actually folded in 1/2 and you can pull the top flowers out to revel a hidden message just for Mom.

I absolutely love the detail and dimension in this card don’t you? It’s so easy to achieve with the bone folder. Simply hold the edge of the bone folder on the center of the inside of flower. Press your finger on the other side of the flower against the bone folder and pull. This will help to softly curl the paper much like you curl ribbon with scissors for a balloon. This is also a great effect for curling tags. They are finished off with a tiny pearl in the center.

Birthday Bow Card & Gifts

Today is my Birthday and what better way to celebrate then with a fun Birthday card.

I love this card because it’s so simple and easy. The cute bow was made with the Envelope punch board. One of the special projects my club members learned how to create. The tag is so easy to create using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, one of my favorite products from the occasions catalog and simply a must have for any stamper or even no stamper for a quick tag.

I realized I never showed you the full pictures of the projects from Club that featured this fun bow technique. The first one used the scallop Tag Topper Punch again this time to create a fun little package that you could stick a treat in like lotion or something yummy. This could be used for a Birthday gift or just because.

The next project is on one of our Decorative Window gift Boxes once again decorated with the cute paper bow. This time it is attached with a cute belly band that can be slipped off to revel a fun treat or gift.

Happy Graduation Cards

I can hardly believe it but my oldest is graduating from High School next month. Not quite sure how that happened. I figured many of you might have someone graduating as well, whether it’s a child, sibling, spouse, grand-child, niece, nephew or friend it’s always great to let them know how proud of them you are.

I have two fun cards to share with you today. Both of these are available at my Stampin’ Buffet this month.

First is more of a traditional Graduation card. Shaped to look like a Graduation Cap.

Underneath is a card that’s just the perfect size to write a quick note and let them know how you feel.

Then of course my favorite part, the tassel. This can be customized to fit the colors of your graduates class. My son’s just happen to be orange, blue and white. I even used the gold paper to create a gold band. The fun tassel is made with white baker’s twine and colored with our inks to match the school colors. How fun is that.

My next card is a little bit more modern. This one is great for anyone who just needs a little note of encouragement and great job. It could even be for someone that just needs a little pick up or someone getting ready for a big event. No mater who you give it to they will love the fun modern look of the shapes, colors and words.

April 2014 Stampin’ Buffet

I finally had time to create this weekend and boy did I have fun. I have lots of cute cards for you to create at Stampin’ Buffet this week. Be sure to RSVP so I can plan for you. Easter Bunny Punch Card

Did you notice this cute little card in my Stampin’ Buffet this month?

I’m a huge fan of punch art so when I was trying to decide on a fun idea for an Easter card I couldn’t resit making a punch art bunny. The fun spring colors of the Sale-a-bration paper works perfect with this card along with the sale-a-bration embossing folder.

Do you send Easter cards? I never have, but I think it would be fun to get this little guy in the mail. Of course you could change the sentiment to Thank You or Happy Birthday because this little guy is sure to make anyone’s day.
