Day 20 โ€“ Blessings of the Season

Scripture-Based Messages + Color Challenge #4

Todayโ€™s project blended two beautiful inspirations: Blessings of the Season, which called for scripture-based messages paired with gentle imagery, and Color Challenge #4 featuring the Concord & 9th palette of Nectar, Eucalyptus & Blueberry.

To coordinate with Stampinโ€™ Up! colors, I selected Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, and Misty Moonlightโ€”a soft and elegant combination that worked perfectly with the peaceful feel of the theme.

Simple, Elegant & Meaningful

For this card, I kept the design very simple to allow the scripture and imagery to shine.

I reached for the Gift of Joy Stamp Set (#169238) and used the lovely three-step flower images. The layered stamping made it easy to incorporate all three challenge colors while still keeping the design airy and light.

For my sentiment, I chose a scripture greeting from the retired Blessings of the Season set (#139919). After stamping, I die-cut it using the Textured Notes Dies (#165555) and then matted it with Petal Pink for just a touch of warmth.

Connecting the Details

To pull the design together, I stamped the flower images in opposite cornersโ€”top and bottomโ€”creating a natural frame for the sentiment.

Then came one of my favorite parts: using a Blender Pen and a ruler to draw a soft dashed border connecting the two floral corners. Such a simple technique, but it adds so much charm! Once the entire panel was complete, I cut around it for a polished look.

For the background, I added a layer of Soft Sea Foam stamped with the brand-new Lasting Linen stamp (#167107). This subtle texture gives the finished card a gentle richness without overpowering the simplicity.

The Finished Card

The final result is simple, elegant, and filled with meaningโ€”a quiet, beautiful design built around scripture, soft florals, and one of my favorite color combinations this season.

I love how this one turned out, and I canโ€™t wait to try it again with different sayings in the center. It would be so easy to switch it up for birthdays, sympathy, encouragement, or even a simple โ€œthinking of you.โ€

Sometimes the simplest layouts are the most versatile.

Day 18 โ€“ Silent Night & Sketch Challenge #4

Todayโ€™s Christmas Challenge theme was Silent Night paired with Sketch Challenge #4, and the moment I saw the sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to reach forโ€”the brand-new Swirled Designs Stamp Set (#167030) and Dies (#167032). The stars in this bundle are absolutely stunning, and they instantly sparked the perfect โ€œsilent night skyโ€ idea.

Creating the Silent Night Background

I started with a Balmy Blue card base to give everything that crisp winter feel. For the next layer, I added Night of Navy, embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791). This folder adds such beautiful depth and movementโ€”perfect for creating the look of a quiet, swirling night sky.

To bring in that magical Christmas sparkle, I die-cut the large star from the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper (#165929). The shine is subtle but so elegant, and it really helps the star take center stage.

Sentiments with a Twist

For the greeting, I reached for the Jar of Joy Stamp Set (#166176) and used the โ€œmay your heart be filled with joyโ€ sentimentโ€”except I masked off the word joy to better fit the sketch. I stamped and heat-embossed it in silver, then punched it out with the Triple Banner Punch for a clean finish.

To complete the sentiment on the inside, I added the word โ€œMagicโ€ from the Light & Wonder Stamp Set (#165756) along with a few coordinating stars. It ties everything together so nicely.

Ribbon Tip Youโ€™ll Want to Try

You might notice the ribbon on the card looks extra thinโ€”hereโ€™s a fun trick! I used the Misty Moonlight Silver-Edged Ribbon (#165931) and simply cut off the silver edge so I could use it like bakerโ€™s twine. It adds just a touch of sparkle without overwhelming the design. Such an easy way to stretch your ribbon and get more looks from one spool!

Trying an Alternate Version

After finishing the first card, I wasnโ€™t completely sure how I felt about the open center of the star, so I decided to try a second version. For this one, I traced the die onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and brushed it with Wink of Stella to create a soft sparkle behind the die-cut star. Once I layered the star over it, the whole look felt a bit more full and defined.

I used the same ribbon-cutting technique but added Balmy Blue Sheer Ribbon (#165767) behind the star as well. I even repurposed the extra little silver strips I trimmed awayโ€”perfect for accenting the sentiment!

For a final magical touch, I flicked my Wink of Stella across the Night of Navy embossed layer to create a splattered starlight effect. Itโ€™s such a simple technique, but it brings everything to life.

Which Version Do You Prefer?

Now the real questionโ€ฆ Which one do I like better? Honestly, Iโ€™m still torn! The open star has a clean elegance, but the filled-in version has a soft glow that I really love.

Iโ€™d love to hear your thoughtsโ€”tell me in the comments which one speaks to you!

๐ŸŒ™ Day 14 โ€“ Magic of Midnight Monochrome Moments

When I saw the two themes for today โ€” Magic of Midnight and Monochrome Moments โ€” I knew I wanted to create a peaceful winter scene that captured the calm beauty of a cold winter night. โ„๏ธโœจ

I paired shades of Cloud Cover, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, and Secret Sea with touches of Silver Foil Sheets (#163387) to create a beautiful midnight glow. The combination feels serene and elegant, just like a quiet winterโ€™s night under the stars. ๐ŸŒŒ

For my background, I used the new Swirled Designs Stamp Set (#167030) โ€” an Online Exclusive! โ€” stamping off to soften the color and create a gentle, blended texture. My focal image features a tree from the Pine Tree Trimmings Stamp Set (#166040), though what I really love about this layout is how it would work with almost any tree set!

To add dimension, I embossed my background with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600) and lightly brushed over it with both Misty Moonlight and Secret Sea ink pads to bring out the texture. The Silver Foil and Misty Moonlight Silver-Edged Ribbon tied everything together perfectly, giving it that magical moonlit touch.

For the greeting, I heat-embossed โ€œO Christmas Treeโ€ in silver embossing powder and cut out the word โ€œChristmasโ€ for a clean, elegant focal sentiment. I finished the card with a few delicate details โ€” Wink of Stella (#141897) on the tree for shimmer and Hues of Blue Flowers (#165930) for a subtle frosty accent.

The end result feels peaceful, shimmery, and full of midnight Christmas magic. ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŒ™

๐Ÿ–คโœจ Day 12 โ€“ Black, White & Gold Glam Meets Reindeer Games

Day 12 brought a touch of elegant glam to my Christmas Card Challenge with the theme Black, White & Gold Glam + Reindeer Games!

The Modern Christmas Suite was the perfect go-to for todayโ€™s challenge. I wanted to keep things simple yet striking, so I designed a classic dualโ€“Designer Series Paper layout with a bold focal image and a clean, elegant greeting layered right on top.

A bit of ribbon and a mix of black and gold embossing added just the right touch of sparkle and sophistication. Since the card base itself is black, I made sure to stamp the inside on white cardstock, leaving plenty of space for a heartfelt holiday message. ๐Ÿ’›

To tie in the Reindeer Games theme, I also created an additional card using the same layout โ€” this time featuring one of my all-time favorite retired sets, Dasher, as the focal point. The elegant reindeer image paired beautifully with the black, white, and gold color scheme for a timeless Christmas look. ๐ŸฆŒโœจ

This card came together quickly but makes a stunning impression โ€” proof that minimal color and elegant accents can create a truly glamorous Christmas card!

๐ŸŒŸ Day 4 โ€“ A Creative Challenge: Nativity Night Meets Stocking Surprise

Todayโ€™s Christmas Card Challenge really pushed me to get creative! I wanted to see if I could combine two completely different themes into one cohesive design โ€” and I love how it turned out.

โœจ #ACardADayInNovember2025 โ€“ Nativity Night – peaceful starry sky, manger scene, or โ€œO Holy Nightโ€
๐Ÿงฆ #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge โ€“ Stocking SurpriseHanging stockings or hidden treats.

Iโ€™ve been wanting to create a window card using the Arch Dies, and this felt like the perfect opportunity. My goal was to design a card that tells a story โ€” looking out the window, you see a peaceful nativity scene, while inside thereโ€™s a warm, cozy holiday setting complete with stockings hung and ready for Christmas morning.

This project reminded me how much I love finding ways to blend techniques and themes. Sometimes the best ideas come when you push yourself just a little outside your comfort zone. ๐Ÿ’–

โœจ Supplies & Details

This card took a little extra creativity โ€” and a lot of wonderful products! I loved mixing and matching textures, colors, and dies to bring this cozy Christmas window scene to life. Here are the main supplies I used:

๐Ÿชž Dies & Embellishments:

๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ Tools & Coloring:

๐ŸŽจ Ink Colors:

  • Balmy Blue
  • Early Espresso
  • Old Olive
  • Mossy Meadow

I loved how these products worked together to create depth, warmth, and sparkle โ€” from the soft shimmer of the glimmer paper and ribbon to the textured brick background and peaceful glow behind the window.
