Back from Convention

I’m back from Convention and so excited to share everything with you.  Convention was fabulous as usual.  Of course there were tons of great ideas.  I did my swaps again this year so I thought I would share them with you.  I was in charge of three different swaps this year: a fabric swap using the Big Shot, a 3D swap and a 12 x 12 Double Scrapbook Layout.  So far I have the fabric swaps up so you can check them out.  Just image how much fun you could have making these projects with your own Big Shot.  I’d love to show you how just give me a call, plus you can check out all these great projects in person.

Stampin’ Saturday

Spend a Stampin’ Saturday with me.  Check out my three great events!

Saturday Club:

Saturday June 19th
10:00 am – 2:00 pm

If you haven’t had a chance to check out club then you need to plan to come.  You will be able to make the fun 4th of July pages or cards from this month.   If you are in club and missed a month during April, May or June remember this is your chance to come and make your projects.

Bring a friend and you will both receive a free gift.  New club member will also get a bonus gift.

Last Chance Stamp Camp

Saturday June 19th
3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The Stamp Camp is just $15.00 and includes a $10.00 coupon good for that day.  You will make 4-6 projects (I haven’t decided on them yet) that will feature some of the fun products we are saying good bye to.  This will be a fun event so plan now to come.

Stay for the Customer Appreciation BBQ and Auction.

This is by far my favorite event of the year.  Everyone is invited and the event is free.  I will be having an auction where you will be able to get some of the fun projects I’ve made over the years as well as retired and retiring product.  Everyone has already earned auction points just by being my customers.  Plus May and June are double points months.

Save the Date

I have the Sweetest Job around and I want to share it with you.   I’m planning a fun event and everyone is invited.  This is a great time to find out what Stampin’ Up! is all about.  I will be sharing with you all the great benefits receive when you join my team.  Plus they have a new $99.00 starter kit that I will let you know about.

Check out my Rag Bag

I talked a little bit about using the Big Shot for quilting and sewing when I got back from Leadership in January, however since I’m not that great at sewing I haven’t been able to peruse it much further.  In April I was able to attend a meeting held by my up-line Amy Johnson and was finally able to learn how to make one of these awesome Rag Bags.  Can I just say it was way easier that I thought it was going to be.

So here’s me sewing my bag.  It was so easy to cut out.  I just cut the fabric in strips and then I was able to cut out 8 scallop squares at once.  I loved it.  We also made this awesome flower to go on the back.  I was surprised at how easy it was and that I was able to do it thanks to the help of my awesome Stampin’ friends.

Then here’s the finished project.  It’s awesome because you can make the bag any size that you want.  You can totally customize it for your needs.

They have also been making quilts, hair bows, clothing and more.  You really need to check out all the things you can do with our fabulous Big Shot.

So now I’m excited to share this with you.  I’m going to be having a

Stampin’ Up! Sew Fun Fabric Open House

and your invited to come and check it out.  Even if you don’t sew come and check out all the fun things you can do with paper as well as fabric.  There’s even no sew ideas that you can check out.  So here’s all the details.
