I’m so excited

The new mini catalog starts today and I can hardly wait to show you all the fun things in it. There are great ideas and products for Halloween, Christmas and Winter time as well as the fun new Build-A-Bear Workshop® products. I just love all the fun new stamps, accessories and die cuts as well as two new hostess sets that I’ve just got to have.

There will be a swap if you want to participate.

Projects for two upcoming parties

Angela is getting together with her friends for a little stampin’ fun. In addition to the free card her guest will make she’s decided that she also wants to invite her friends to come this darling butterfly box. Her guest can sign up to make it for just $5.00.

How fun is this to fill with treats and give to a friend. Remember if you are invited to Angela’s party and want to make this you need to let her know or send me an e-mail so I can bring a kit for you.

August Club projects

We had a lot of fun making these pages and cards on Wednesday at Club. Remember if you join SOS Club you will be able to make these fun pages or cards as well. This month we used the all in the family set. Remember right now when you buy this set you can get a set of free buttons. This is good for any $35.00 purchase in the growing up section of the catalog. Click here for more details.

The all in the family set is a perfect set to use with our Stamp-a-ma-jig. I showed them how I took the thick window sheets and cut 2 x 2 squares so that I could make a jig for all the pieces and keep them with my stamp set. It works great for anything you use your Stamp-a-ma-jig with all the time such as alphabet sets.

This fun layout came from a page that my up-line Brandi made for a 12 x 12 swap from convention.

Here is the fun page she made using the under the stars set which is also part of the growing up section of the catalog.

When we were going the other convention swaps we noticed another page that uses the same layout. It was done by my other up-line Janice. I love it when you can use the same layout to create three different and great pages. Remember when you need some inspiration just turn to our great catalog. Find a layout you like then pick a color scheme and a Stamp Set. You’ll have your own unique creation in no time.

Here are the cards that our members got to make. It hard to see but the happy together is made with a fun new technique that I learned at convention. I used the bone folder to curl the piece just like you would ribbon on a present. I wanted it curled two directions so I started in the middle and went one way then I flipped it over and went the other way.

Notice that I also used the piercing tool on the cards and the pages. I love that the piercing tool is finally avalible by itself. Be sure to order this great tool for your own projects.
