Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set

It’s funny because I actually created this card two years ago for a new catalog swap when the now retiring 2021-2023 In-colors where new. I wanted a card that showcased all the new in-colors and the new stamp set. I still love how this card turned out and my have to try this technique with the new colors when they arrive next week.

This card is relatively simple to create the trick is to attach your individual pieces and then stamp your image. The image is stamped in white craft in and embossed with white embossing powder. Once again this set along with in-colors are retiring. Remember to place your orders ASAP before your favorites are gone for good. Remember the hostess code is listed to the right.

Daisy Garden Stamp Set

Want a quick and easy card?

The Daisy Garden Stamp set is the perfect solution. You can use any combination of colors just simply stamp the background and add it to your card base. Throw in a little ribbon for texture and your choice of greeting and you have a quick and easy that can be made in minutes. Remember this set is retiring so get it before it’s gone.

  • 155079 – Daisy Garden (R)
  • 155052 – Biggest Wishes (C)
  • Colors – Left Card – Pale Papaya (R), Evening Evergreen (R), Basic White (C)
  • Colors – Right Card – So Saffron (R), Blackberry Bliss (C), Basic White (C)
  • 155573- 3/8″ Open Wave Ribbon Evening Evergreen (R) – Left Card
  • 159194 – Rose Gold & White 5/8″ Striped Ribbon (R) – Right Card

(R) Retiring, (C) Carrying over

Quick Tip – Instead of removing my background stamp from the case I ink it in the case then put my cardstock over the part of the image that I want to stamp. I then place the largest block over the cardstock and use it to apply even pressure when stamping the image.

Just a thought – This same technique could be used with the Butterfly Brilliance set that I showcased yesterday. I would love to see your samples of this technique using any background stamp. Please feel free to share them in the comments or on my Facebook page.

Butterfly Brilliance

After creating my video for my recent post on duel embossing techniques I wanted to try using the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp set that I mentioned my friend Alisa Tilsner used. I wanted the colors to be brighter those so I decided on more of a rainbow look. The card on the right uses the same wet embossing technique I showed how to use in the video.

The card on the left however is slightly different as the set doesn’t have an embossing folder but instead has a matching set of dies. The set has a set of dies that will cut out all the stamped images and it also has lined butterflies. For this project I used the blending brushes the same way to create the background and then used both dies to cut out the butterflies and place them over the background. I will be honest I love how this turned out.

I created this before I found out about the retiring list, however once I found the set and dies were retiring I new I need to share it right away. I’ve included a list of the retiring items so you purchase them before it’s to late.

  • 155092 – Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set (R)
  • 155523 – Brilliant Wings Dies (R)
  • 155052 – Biggest Wish (C)
  • 158138 – White Frayed Ribbon (R)
  • 160430 – Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon (C)
  • 159185 – 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds (R)
  • Colors – Mango Melody (R), Bermuda Bay (R), Polished Pink (R), Basic White (C)

(R) – Retiring, (C) Carrying Over

Retiring Samples

I’ve made a goal to share a new post each day featuring retiring product from the 2022-2023 annual catalog or the 2023 Mini Catalog. I wanted to make it easy for you to find the retiring list as it should move down as I add new posts so I have decided to keep this quick post at the top of my blog for a reference. You can also learn more about the color refresh in the post. Click here for a link to that post. Keep scrolling to see the daily samples.

As the purpose of these post are to highlight retiring product I will only be listing retiring products used along with the colors used. If you would like more information on sizes, other products used or techniques used please feel free to comment or email me at andersoncandice@hotmail.com.

I hope you enjoy these projects. Remember you can order anytime online. Please use the hostess code listed to the right. Have Stamptasic day!

Retiring List and Color Refresh

It’s that time of year again when sadly we must say good-bye to many favorite Stampin’ Up! products to make room for new ones. In addition to our traditional retiring list we will also be experiencing a color refresh. That means that we are saying good-bye to some of the current Stampin’ Up! colors, saying Hello to returning in-colors and getting the chance to experience new colors in our line.

Attached are the retiring lists for both the current catalog and the mini catalog. I encourage you to order early as items are while supplies last and colors will go quickly. Remember you can order online at candiceanderson.stampinup.net. If you order is less than $150 I encourage you to use the hostess code listed on the top right. If you are over $150 enjoy your hostess benefits. Thank you for your order. I appreciate your support.

Last Chance Product 2019

It’s that time of year again when we have to say goodbye to some of our favorite stamps sets, colors, tools and accessories in order to make room for new items. I’ve seen the new catalog and trust me there are plenty of things to be excited about, however there are also a lot of great items you’ll want to grab before they are gone for good.

Link to start shopping for Candice Anderson Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Shop at: candiceanderson.stampinup.net.

Remember all retired products are while supplies last so shop early to be sure to get your favorites before they are gone for good. Last-Chance products will be available until June 3rd or until they are sold out which ever comes first. Just a quick note as almost all the red-rubber stamp sets will be changing over to the new cling stamps there are some listed on the list that are actually carrying over to the new catalog. These are marked however if you want them in wood mount, clear mount or in the bundles be sure to get them now. I’m including the lists in a few ways so you can choose the best way that works for you to check them out. The best way to check if something is still available is to check my website. You can also order online and have it shipped to you 24/7.

One other note:

You may have heard or noticed that the Big Shot and the cutting board are on the retired list. Stampin’ Up! is in the process of developing their own products that will be similar to these. We haven’t heard yet when they will be available. There are new dies and embossing folders in the catalog as well as some of the ones that are carrying over. The new dies are slightly different, but accomplish the same thing. I’ll let you know more information when I have it. Stampin’ Up! expects to get several different shipments in of blades for the cutter so if they are sold out be sure to add yourself to the email list and hopefully you can grab some when they come back in stock.
