🎄 Day 13 – Pastel Christmas Magic ✨

Day 13 brought a little extra Christmas magic with a pastel color palette full of sparkle and another fun sketch challenge!
I absolutely love the opportunity to create a holiday card using soft colors that aren’t typically associated with Christmas — it gives such a calm, whimsical feel. 💕❄️

The Decorative Trees Stamp Set (#164275) was perfect for this challenge, paired with some soft ink blending using our Blending Brushes (#160518). I ended up making two different samples, each with its own pastel charm.

💙 Card 1 – Silent Snow Pastels

For my first card, I used the Silent Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper (#166062) and lightly blended Pool Party ink over the snowflake design to make them pop. I paired it with Bubble Bath and Summer Splash for a soft, dreamy mix of colors.

To add sparkle, I brushed on Wink of Stella (#141897), tied a bow with White Ribbon (#165562), and finished it off with Frosted Iridescent Dots (#165766). The result is a delicate, snowy scene that feels fresh and serene. ✨

💜 Card 2 – Swirled Ombre Snowfall

For the second card, I created a swirled background using the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791), then blended an ombre background with Pool Party, Petunia Pop, Bubble Bath, and Summer Splash inks.

I added a layered snowy scene with the Light & Wonder Dies (#165762) and brushed on a touch of Wink of Stella for shimmer. To finish, I added Frosted Iridescent Dots and a bit of Petunia Pop Iridescent Ribbon (#166203) for extra sparkle.

For the sentiment, I stamped “Happy Christmas” from the Gift of Joy Stamp Set (#169238) and used the Three Banner Punch (#167050) to create the perfect banner accent.

Both of these cards share the same soft, peaceful feeling — proof that Christmas magic shines just as brightly in pastels and shimmer as it does in traditional red and green. 💗💙💜

🖤✨ Day 12 – Black, White & Gold Glam Meets Reindeer Games

Day 12 brought a touch of elegant glam to my Christmas Card Challenge with the theme Black, White & Gold Glam + Reindeer Games!

The Modern Christmas Suite was the perfect go-to for today’s challenge. I wanted to keep things simple yet striking, so I designed a classic dual–Designer Series Paper layout with a bold focal image and a clean, elegant greeting layered right on top.

A bit of ribbon and a mix of black and gold embossing added just the right touch of sparkle and sophistication. Since the card base itself is black, I made sure to stamp the inside on white cardstock, leaving plenty of space for a heartfelt holiday message. 💛

To tie in the Reindeer Games theme, I also created an additional card using the same layout — this time featuring one of my all-time favorite retired sets, Dasher, as the focal point. The elegant reindeer image paired beautifully with the black, white, and gold color scheme for a timeless Christmas look. 🦌✨

This card came together quickly but makes a stunning impression — proof that minimal color and elegant accents can create a truly glamorous Christmas card!

✨ Day 11 – Minimalist Christmas & Frosted Windowpanes

Day 11 brought the beautiful challenge of Minimalist Christmas, featuring white space, gold foil, and clean lines — paired perfectly with the theme Frosted Windowpanes. My goal was to create something simple yet elegant, and I absolutely love how this serene design turned out.

For my layout, I incorporated the Global Design Project Layout Challenge #GDP522, which inspired the clean structure of the card. I used the Everyday Arches Dies (#164629) to create three arched window elements, layering them with Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772) and Window Sheets (#142314) for a frosty, dimensional look.

To achieve the frosted glass effect, I gently applied white ink to the back of the window sheets — this way, the ink isn’t exposed and still gives that soft, misty glow.

Behind the windows, I created a peaceful winter scene using the Light & Wonder Dies (#165762), accented with a touch of Wink of Stella (#141897) for shimmer, and layered it over the Lights of Aurora Designer Series Paper (#165755). I mounted the entire design on Azure Afternoon cardstock, embossed with the Birchwood 3D Embossing Folder (#164069) and brushed with a little more white ink to add a snowy texture. ❄️

To complete the look, I heat-embossed the sentiment “Wishing You Peace and Joy” from the Ornamental Christmas Stamp Set (#165991) in gold embossing powder, and tied everything together with a delicate gold bow made from the Black & Gold Baker’s Twine (#166005).

Tip: The new Three Banner Punch (#167050) is a quick and easy way to make a perfect banner of any length — just feed one end of your strip into the punch for a clean finish!

This minimalist design truly embodies quiet beauty — simple, elegant, and full of frosted Christmas charm. 💛

☃️ Day 10 – Snowman Shenanigans & a Magical Color Twist

I had such a blast sharing today’s card during my live! This fun fold card is bursting with sparkle and holiday cheer — from the unexpected color combo of purples and greens to the whimsical twist on Snowman Shenanigans, I think you’re going to fall in love with this one just like I did. 💜💚✨

This card came together with a mix of creativity, experimentation, and a few surprises along the way. I used a lot of different products — including one very unexpected element!

I pulled pieces from the Darling Dinos (#164728) set again, but this time instead of dino-deer, I used them in a whole new way. Combined with the Light & Wonder Dies (#165762), I created the sweetest little snowman that’s sure to melt your heart. ☃️💖

To bring in more holiday magic, I added details and greetings from:
🎄 A Little Cheer Stamp Set (#166121)
🎅 Pine Tree Trimmings Stamp Set (#166040)
🌟 Pine Tree Trimmings Dies (#166046)

🎨 Color Palette Magic

For my color palette, I experimented with two different combos to capture the challenge colors — Concord and 9th —Plumberry, Rainforest, and Lilac.

As these are not Stampin’ Up! colors I had to adjust a bit. I started with my first color combo but after seeing some of the challenge samples, I decided to tweak the colors a bit to better match the prompt.

Which one is your favorite?

💜 First Combo: Mossy Meadow, Petunia Pop, and Berry Burst

  • Spooky Sweet DSP (#166191)

💚 Second Combo (used in my live): Blackberry Bliss, Pretty Peacock, and Fresh Freesia

  • Season of Elegance DSP (#164144)

Both versions share some fun common touches — I used Pool Party for the snow and Pecan Pie for the tree trunks and snowman twigs. ✨

To finish off the sparkle, I added:

  • Wink of Stella (#141897) for shimmer
  • Petunia Pop Iridescent Ribbon (#166203) for a soft, festive glow
  • Frosted Iridescent Dots (#165766) for a frosty finishing touch

These details gave the card just the right amount of shine and magic!

📏 I’ve included a picture of the measurements if you’d like to recreate this easy yet enchanting fun fold card yourself — it’s simple, sparkly, and so much fun to make!

A hand-drawn template showing measurements and scoring instructions for a fun fold card, labeled with dimensions and cut lines.

✨ If you missed my live, be sure to catch the replay and see how it all came together step-by-step! Plus you’ll want to catch the magic in action to see how this fun fold card opens to add surprise and delight to the receiver.

🍬 Day 9 – Gingerbread Dreams & Tinsel Trouble

Day 9 of my Christmas Card Challenge brought me two fun and festive themes: Gingerbread Dreams and Tinsel Trouble! These prompts really pushed me to get creative and play with different styles, while keeping a consistent base design.

For this challenge, I decided to experiment with one main layout across all three cards, using a consistent color palette for two — and something completely different for the third.

🍭 Gingerbread Dreams

For the first two cards, I pulled out a couple of my retired favorites that I hadn’t had much time to play with yet — Sweet Gingerbread and Trees for Sale. They paired perfectly with the cozy, whimsical gingerbread theme!

I chose soft, playful colors:
🎨 Strawberry Slush, Pretty in Pink, Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, and Soft Sea Foam.

To add that magical sparkle, I brushed on some Wink of Stella and layered in touches of Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper (#165929). Then finished it off with some Frosted Iridescent Dots Embellishments (#165766). The background is embossed with the So Swirly Folder (#163791) for that fun, frosted feel, and I used the Stylish Shapes Dies (#159183) to create the classic circle accent I love.

✨ Tinsel Trouble

For the third card, I completely switched gears — going bold, bright, and glittery! I dove right into the “tinsel trouble” theme with a mosaic-style shimmer background, combining Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper with Adhesive Sheets (#152334) and cutting it out using the Ornamental Christmas Dies (#166000).

The matching sentiment came from the Ornamental Christmas Stamp Set (#165991) and added just the right finishing touch.

This bold beauty features a cool, elegant color palette of💙 Secret Sea, Blueberry Bushel, and Smoky Slate, finished off with Misty Moonlight Ribbon (#165931) and Gray Baker’s Twine for a perfectly chaotic Christmas sparkle!

I love how all three cards share the same foundation but feel completely different — from soft and sweet to bold and bright!

⛄ Day 8 – Penguin Pals & Snowy Sketch Challenge!

Day 8 brought another fun sketch challenge, this time paired with the theme Penguin Pals — adorable chilly friends bundled up with scarves and hats! 🐧🧣

For this challenge, I decided to reach for one of my favorite retired snowman sets, along with a retired snowflake set and some shaker elements, to create a super fun and easy shaker card made with flip flaps. ❄️

The stylish shapes dies were perfect for creating my shaker window. If you want to learn how to make one of these cards, you can check out my tutorial video here:
🎥 How to Make a Flip Flap Shaker Card

For this design, I focused on cool winter blues, combining a few of this year’s beautiful In ColorsCloud Cover and Secret Sea — with Misty Moonlight for depth. I added a pop of brightness with Poppy Parade, then finished it off with sparkle using Wink of Stella and the Misty Moonlight Silver-Edged Ribbon.

Our Blending Pens made coloring these snowmen super easy, and I added the perfect finishing touch with a few Hues of Blue flower embellishments, which remind me of snowflakes and matched perfectly with my color palette.

This fun shaker card is full of motion, shimmer, and joy — sure to delight and surprise anyone who receives it this holiday season! 💙✨
