Exciting News & Birthday Sale

So I know I’m really far behind on my post right now but I just had to get on and talk about my exciting news. Stampin’ Sunday 3-15-09

I made this fun book Sunday Morning. It only took me about an hour and that includes creating it. I was asked to create a paper bag book for a class at church. I really had fun creating this book. I had never created a paper bag book before so this was really fun.

I love that I could have fun pull outs to go with it. I chose the good friend stamp set so that it could be versatile and you could put just about anything with it.

The book has a total of 10 pages plus 3 pullouts that are front and back. I had fun using the in-colors and the good morning sunshine paper. Here is a sample of just one of the page sections.

Since this was already planned for a class and features just one stamp set I am offering it as a project kit or a group class. You will find a list below of everything that is included as well as everything you will need to complete it. You can order this kit to make at home or get a group together and I will come to you. The price for the kit is $10.00. If you have at least 15 kits you will also get hostess benefits and I will give you your kit for free. The stamp set is roughly $33.75 with tax and shipping. Stampin’ Sunday 3-8-09

I was watching some of the wonderful training video’s on the demonstrator site the other day and I came across one by Linda Hansen. She is one of the wonderful presenters at Stampin’ Up!® She was demonstrating using the blank vinyl with the big shot. She made a mirror with her name on it so I just had to give it a try.

Her name is spelled with and I and I loved how she put the flower over the I. I chose the word smile beacause everyone should remember to smile and because it had an I in it.

One of the cool techniques she showed was embossing on the vinyl. She used Craft ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. She even stamped right on it and embossed it so that it would have a fun pattern. I think this would be fun to try on some of our great patterns as well as the raw vinyl. Swapping Saturday 2-7-09

Valentines Bucket:
I loved this bucket. It was filled with a hot chocolate packet, a Hershey’s kiss on a spoon, a 2x4x6x8 box with marshmallows and a cute little envelop with a poem for hot chocolate.

Love Banner:
This cute banner is made with coasters. They used the big shot letters and the Love you Much Stamp set (113756, $25.95)

Test Tube Candy Holder:

I loved this little test tube candy hold. I really loved how they made a box to put it in. Once again this is the Love yo Much Stamp set and lots of our fun punches.
