Stampin’ Sunday 2-8-09

So I just got the new Circle Scissor Plus.  I had fun playing it.  You will really love this new cutter.  Here is just one of the cards that I made.  The design is from the Stampin’ Success® which is a monthly magazine Stampin’ Up!® sends to all of it’s demonstrators.  It’s a great magazine packed full of ideas and projects.  Plus it has on-line links to the website for demonstrators with even more projects.   You can get this great magazine for yourself when you sign up to become a demonstrator.  For more information check out my Join Me section of my blog.birthday-circles

Swapping Saturday 2-7-09

I loved this bucket.  It was filled with a hot chocolate packet, a Hershey’s kiss on a spoon, a 2x4x6x8 box with marshmallows and a cute little envelop with a poem for hot chocolate.

Love Banner:
This cute banner is made with coasters.  They used the big shot letters and the Love you Much Stamp set (113756, $25.95)

I loved this little test tube candy hold.  I really loved how they made a box to put it in.  Once again this is the Love yo Much Stamp set and lots of our fun punches.

Thrifty Thursday 2-5-09

This is a card that I created for a Shoebox swap that I did.  A shoebox swap is where you create a card and then cut out enough for all the guest.  Then you go around the room and make each others cards.  It’s really fun.

Wacky Wednesday 2-4-09

So I got a fun package from the UPS man today.  It was my order with some of the fun new products.  I got the new cutter bee circle cutter and some new stuff for the big shot.  Of course I just had to try it out.  My son actually gave me the perfect opportunity.  His Birthday is in the middle of summer when life is usually crazy so I told him we could have a 1/2 Birthday party instead.  We are planning for Friday night so I made him these cute cards to invite his friends.  His favorite color is blue so of course I had to use the in-color Pacific point.  Plus I had to try out my new toys.

bold-cupcake-diecut-card1I really loved putting the texture on the Bold cupcakes.  The frosting has the swirl plate and the cake has the polk-a-dot.  Then I used the directly to paper technique to get a little ink on them and really make them pop.  I loved how it turned out.  I really loved using the circle cutter.  It was so fast and easy.  I can’t wait to try it for more projects. 

I did learn that I need to cut out the items with the big shot and then run the texture on them otherwise the pressure of cutting it just smooths it back out again.  Anyway I had lots of fun and my son loved them so I hope you like it too.
