πŸͺ✨ Day 16 – Peace on Earth Meets Cookie Exchange

Day 16 definitely stretched my creativity! Peace on Earth and Cookie Exchange aren’t themes you’d normally see together… but one of our amazing Stampin’ Up! kits made pulling them together surprisingly simple.

Day 16 definitely stretched my creativity! Peace on Earth and Cookie Exchange aren’t themes you’d normally see together… but one of our amazing Stampin’ Up! kits made pulling them together surprisingly simple.

I decided to take the Loveliest Wishes Kit (#166284)β€”a beautiful, soft-colored non-holiday kitβ€”and challenge myself to transform it into Christmas cards. The kit includes enough supplies to make three each of three different designs, so I started by creating the cards exactly as intended. They’re simple, easy, and so much fun to put together!

I love the soft color palette in this kit, so next I grabbed the A Little Cheer Stamp Set (#166121) and the coordinating dies (#166123) and began the holiday transformation. My personal challenge was to use only the paper that came in the kit, so I:

  • Stamped on the extra paper pieces
  • Used greetings in other languages and stamped on the back
  • Punched images from the kit’s pre-printed elements

Because the coordinating kit colors are Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink, converting these beautiful cards into sweet Christmas designs was simple and natural. The leaf designs were perfect for the Peace on Earth theme, and the β€œHappy Christmas” card with the punched images gave me instant cookie vibes for the Cookie Exchange challenge.

🍬 Round Two – Jar of Joy Remix

I still had one more set of card bases left, so I grabbed the Jar of Joy Stamp Set (#166176) and coordinating punch (#165506). This time, I added a pop of Calypso Coral to brighten things up.

Fun fact:
πŸ‘‰ I used every single stamp in the Jar of Joy set across the three cards!
Just a note – I did use and extra piece of white paper to stamp and punch the jars; however, you could use the extra white piece that is used to pop on the images on the ornament Jar card and instead place the images directly on the card base.

I had so much fun stamping the greetings in multiple colorsβ€”just clean the stamp in between and keep going! This round, I was able to blend the Peace on Earth leaves with the cookie-inspired images to create a card that feels both peaceful and sweet.

πŸ’‘ Final Thoughts

Our kits are already fun, simple, and beautifully designed just the way they areβ€”but with a little creative magic and imagination, they can become so much more.

I would LOVE to see what you create with your kits!

πŸͺ΅βœ¨ Day 15 – Plaid Perfection & Color Challenge #3

Day 15 brought together two fun themes:
Plaid Perfection β€” mix and match tartans for a warm, rustic look
and
Color Challenge #3 – Concord & 9th Midnight, Peacock, and Aqua Sky.

I chose the closest Stampin’ Up! colors to match the challenge:
πŸ’™ Secret Sea, Pretty Peacock, and Pool Party

These colors paired beautifully with the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper (#164678) to highlight the plaid theme. I used the Ornamental Christmas Stamp Set (#165991) and Ornamental Christmas Dies (#166000) to create a unique fun fold card that feels both modern and cozy. A little sparkle from the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper (#165929) made the star really shine, and I finished the look with 2025–2027 In Color Flat Pearls (#165192) and White Ribbon (#165562).

πŸ”₯ Warm Rustic Version

After creating the cool-tone version, I couldn’t resist trying a warmer palette too!
For this one, I switched to:
🀎 Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, and Petal Pink

To add sparkle, I used the Earthen Tones Metallic Specialty Paper (#165901) and accented with Cajun Craze & Gold Dots (#165984). A bit of Espresso Baker’s Twine (#165986) tucked behind the star added a rustic finishing detail.

πŸ“ Fun Fold Measurements (In Inches)

This fun fold is much easier than it looks! Here’s the quick guide:

  • Base Piece: 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ (cut to size, not folded)
  • Background Folded Panel: 5-1/4″ x 6″ β€” score at 2″
  • Inside White Layer: 5″ x 3-3/4″
  • Accent Piece: Cut using the Everyday Arches Dies (#164629)
    • Make the arch piece extra long, then score and fold the bottom behind the white layer to attach
  • Second White Arch: Cut using the next smallest arch die
  • Designer Series Paper Strip: 5″ x 1-3/4″
  • Lightly brush the edges of the DSP with a blending brush and your background color to help it pop against lighter tones.

Note: All measurements are in inches.

Both versions of this card turned out warm, inviting, and full of holiday charm. Whether you like cool winter blues or rustic warm tones, this fun fold works beautifully for both!

πŸŒ™ Day 14 – Magic of Midnight Monochrome Moments

When I saw the two themes for today β€” Magic of Midnight and Monochrome Moments β€” I knew I wanted to create a peaceful winter scene that captured the calm beauty of a cold winter night. β„οΈβœ¨

I paired shades of Cloud Cover, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, and Secret Sea with touches of Silver Foil Sheets (#163387) to create a beautiful midnight glow. The combination feels serene and elegant, just like a quiet winter’s night under the stars. 🌌

For my background, I used the new Swirled Designs Stamp Set (#167030) β€” an Online Exclusive! β€” stamping off to soften the color and create a gentle, blended texture. My focal image features a tree from the Pine Tree Trimmings Stamp Set (#166040), though what I really love about this layout is how it would work with almost any tree set!

To add dimension, I embossed my background with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600) and lightly brushed over it with both Misty Moonlight and Secret Sea ink pads to bring out the texture. The Silver Foil and Misty Moonlight Silver-Edged Ribbon tied everything together perfectly, giving it that magical moonlit touch.

For the greeting, I heat-embossed β€œO Christmas Tree” in silver embossing powder and cut out the word β€œChristmas” for a clean, elegant focal sentiment. I finished the card with a few delicate details β€” Wink of Stella (#141897) on the tree for shimmer and Hues of Blue Flowers (#165930) for a subtle frosty accent.

The end result feels peaceful, shimmery, and full of midnight Christmas magic. πŸ’™πŸŒ™

✨ Day 11 – Minimalist Christmas & Frosted Windowpanes

Day 11 brought the beautiful challenge of Minimalist Christmas, featuring white space, gold foil, and clean lines β€” paired perfectly with the theme Frosted Windowpanes. My goal was to create something simple yet elegant, and I absolutely love how this serene design turned out.

For my layout, I incorporated the Global Design Project Layout Challenge #GDP522, which inspired the clean structure of the card. I used the Everyday Arches Dies (#164629) to create three arched window elements, layering them with Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772) and Window Sheets (#142314) for a frosty, dimensional look.

To achieve the frosted glass effect, I gently applied white ink to the back of the window sheets β€” this way, the ink isn’t exposed and still gives that soft, misty glow.

Behind the windows, I created a peaceful winter scene using the Light & Wonder Dies (#165762), accented with a touch of Wink of Stella (#141897) for shimmer, and layered it over the Lights of Aurora Designer Series Paper (#165755). I mounted the entire design on Azure Afternoon cardstock, embossed with the Birchwood 3D Embossing Folder (#164069) and brushed with a little more white ink to add a snowy texture. ❄️

To complete the look, I heat-embossed the sentiment β€œWishing You Peace and Joy” from the Ornamental Christmas Stamp Set (#165991) in gold embossing powder, and tied everything together with a delicate gold bow made from the Black & Gold Baker’s Twine (#166005).

✨ Tip: The new Three Banner Punch (#167050) is a quick and easy way to make a perfect banner of any length β€” just feed one end of your strip into the punch for a clean finish!

This minimalist design truly embodies quiet beauty β€” simple, elegant, and full of frosted Christmas charm. πŸ’›

πŸ¦• Day 7 – Reindeer Games & Holiday Hustle

Day 7 was another challenge that really made me think outside the box! The themes β€” Reindeer Games and Holiday Hustle β€” go perfectly together, but there was one small problem… I didn’t have any current reindeer stamp sets. 🦌

Sure, I could’ve reached for a retired set, but I had a fun idea in my head and decided to give it a try instead. I pulled out my dino stamps and dies and got creative β€” dressing up our cute dinosaurs with antlers and a top hat, and setting the scene for a playful game of tic-tac-toe with presents and ornaments! 🎁✨

To make it even more fun, I used the colors from this week’s Global Design Project Challenge (#GDP) for my color inspiration:
🎨 Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, and Granny Apple Green

Definitely not your traditional Christmas palette, but it worked beautifully for this bright, cheerful, and whimsical card.

I paired everything with the Gift of Joy Stamp Set and a fun fold layout to bring it all together. It’s a playful mix of festive fun and creativity that’s sure to make someone smile this holiday season! πŸ’š

🌟 Day 4 – A Creative Challenge: Nativity Night Meets Stocking Surprise

Today’s Christmas Card Challenge really pushed me to get creative! I wanted to see if I could combine two completely different themes into one cohesive design β€” and I love how it turned out.

✨ #ACardADayInNovember2025 – Nativity Night – peaceful starry sky, manger scene, or β€œO Holy Night”
🧦 #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge – Stocking SurpriseHanging stockings or hidden treats.

I’ve been wanting to create a window card using the Arch Dies, and this felt like the perfect opportunity. My goal was to design a card that tells a story β€” looking out the window, you see a peaceful nativity scene, while inside there’s a warm, cozy holiday setting complete with stockings hung and ready for Christmas morning.

This project reminded me how much I love finding ways to blend techniques and themes. Sometimes the best ideas come when you push yourself just a little outside your comfort zone. πŸ’–

✨ Supplies & Details

This card took a little extra creativity β€” and a lot of wonderful products! I loved mixing and matching textures, colors, and dies to bring this cozy Christmas window scene to life. Here are the main supplies I used:

πŸͺž Dies & Embellishments:

πŸ–ŒοΈ Tools & Coloring:

🎨 Ink Colors:

  • Balmy Blue
  • Early Espresso
  • Old Olive
  • Mossy Meadow

I loved how these products worked together to create depth, warmth, and sparkle β€” from the soft shimmer of the glimmer paper and ribbon to the textured brick background and peaceful glow behind the window.
